How We Use Your Information

To provide bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, and financial advisory services you have engaged us for.

To communicate with you about your account, upcoming deadlines (such as GST remittances and tax filings), and service updates.

To fulfill our obligations under applicable Canadian tax and accounting regulations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Our team members are bound by professional obligations of confidentiality as part of their CPA designation and employment agreements.

Data Retention

We retain your personal and financial information for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our legal obligations under the Income Tax Act and other applicable regulations — typically a minimum of seven (7) years.

Upon termination of our engagement, we will return or securely destroy your documents and data in accordance with your instructions and applicable law.

Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, withdraw consent to certain uses of your information (subject to legal and contractual limitations), and file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
